
This grilled halloumi salad is a tasty, savoury recipe! Above all, it's paired with fresh and juicy tomatoes and cucumbers for a crunchy vegetable bite.
Ingredients
- 250 g Milky’s Halum Cheese sliced into ¼ inch slabs
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tomato
- 114 g Kale
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 radishes
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
Method
- Heat a grill to medium heat or heat a pan over medium-high heat.
- Coat both side of the sliced halum cheese with 1 tablespoon of olive oil using a brush.
- Place the halloumi on the grill or pan and cook until grill lines forms and the cheese is melting. Usually, it takes 2 to 3 minutes.
- In a bowl, toss tomatoes, kale, and radishes together.
- For the dressing, mix 1 tablespoon of oil, lemon juice, honey, and pepper together. Then drizzle on top of the salad bowl.
- Add the grilled halloumi on top of the salad and serve immediately.
