Grilled Halloumi Salad

This grilled halloumi salad is a tasty, savoury recipe! Above all, it's paired with fresh and juicy tomatoes and cucumbers for a crunchy vegetable bite.

Ingredients 
 

  • 250 g Milky’s Halum Cheese sliced into ¼ inch slabs
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tomato
  • 114 g Kale
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 radishes
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper

Method

  1. Heat a grill to medium heat or heat a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Coat both side of the sliced halum cheese with 1 tablespoon of olive oil using a brush.
  3. Place the halloumi on the grill or pan and cook until grill lines forms and the cheese is melting. Usually, it takes 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, toss tomatoes, kale, and radishes together.
  5. For the dressing, mix 1 tablespoon of oil, lemon juice, honey, and pepper together. Then drizzle on top of the salad bowl.
  6. Add the grilled halloumi on top of the salad and serve immediately.
