Grilled Halloumi Wrap

Discover pure Mediterranean bliss with our Grilled Halloumi Wrap: a heavenly combination of golden, pan-fried Halloumi cheese, crisp salad greens, and a tangy tzatziki drizzle.

Ingredients  

  • 200 g Milky's Halum or Halloumi
  • 4 Tortilla bread
  • 35 g Mixed salad greens
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 4 tbsp Yoghurt
  • 1 Lemon
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper

Method

  1. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the Halloumi cheese slices to the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crispy.
  3. Warm the tortillas or flatbreads in a separate pan or wrap them in foil and heat them in the oven for a few minutes.
  4. Spread a tablespoon of tzatziki or yoghurt dressing onto each tortilla or flatbread.
  5. Layer the mixed salad greens, cucumber slices, red onion slices, and tomato slices on top of the tzatziki or yoghurt dressing.
  6. Place the cooked Halloumi cheese slices on the salad leaves.
  7. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the Halloumi cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Fold in the sides of the tortilla or flatbread, then roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
  9. Cut the wraps in half diagonally and serve immediately.
