Ingredients
- 200 g Milky's Halum or Halloumi
- 4 Tortilla bread
- 35 g Mixed salad greens
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 Red Onion
- 1 Tomato
- 4 tbsp Yoghurt
- 1 Lemon
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt and Pepper
Method
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the Halloumi cheese slices to the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Warm the tortillas or flatbreads in a separate pan or wrap them in foil and heat them in the oven for a few minutes.
- Spread a tablespoon of tzatziki or yoghurt dressing onto each tortilla or flatbread.
- Layer the mixed salad greens, cucumber slices, red onion slices, and tomato slices on top of the tzatziki or yoghurt dressing.
- Place the cooked Halloumi cheese slices on the salad leaves.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the Halloumi cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla or flatbread, then roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
- Cut the wraps in half diagonally and serve immediately.
