
These delectable little bites of labneh and zaatar roasted tomatoes on top of crostino will surely steal the show at any event.
Ingredients
- 230 g Milky’s Labneh
- 300 g Cherry tomato
- 1 Baguette
- 2 tbsp Za'atar
- 1 tsp Salt
- Black Pepper
Method
- Cut the tomatoes in half. Place them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and stir until coated.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper, and place the tomatoes on it.
- Top the tomatoes with a pinch of za’atar and roast in the oven on a medium heat for 1 to 2 hours until they are meltingly soft and slightly shrivelled.
- To make the crostini, thinly slice the baguette into 1.5 cm slices and brush both sides with olive oil. Season them with za’atar, salt and pepper.
- Arrange the slices on a baking tray and bake in the heated oven until they are a light golden brown.
- On each crostini, spread some Labneh with two or three roasted tomatoes and sprinkle za’atar.
