Labneh and Avocado Toast is a delicious and nutritious breakfast or snack option that combines the creaminess of labneh with the smooth richness of ripe avocado. Ingredients  

  • 4 slices Wholegrain Bread, or your preferred bread
  • 1 Avocado
  • 235 ml Milky’s Labneh
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • Optional toppings: a pinch of red pepper flakes, toasted sesame seeds, or fresh herbs (eg: parsley, coriander, dill)

Method

  1. Toast the bread until crispy.
  2. In a small bowl, mix labneh, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Cut the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a separate bowl.
  4. Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread a layer of the labneh mixture on each slice of toasted bread.
  6. Top the labneh with a layer of mashed avocado.
  7. Optional: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes, toasted sesame seeds, or fresh herbs for extra flavor.
