Zaatar Roasted Tomato Crostini with Labneh
These delectable little bites of labneh and zaatar roasted tomatoes on top of crostino will surely steal the show at any event.
Ingredients
- 230 g Labneh
- 300 g Cherry tomatoes
- 1 Baguette
- 2 tbsp Za'atar
- 1 tsp Salt
- Few grinds of black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the cut in half tomatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir until they are well-coated.
- Line a heavy sheet pan with parchment paper, and place the tomatoes on it.
- Top the tomatoes with a pinch of za’atar and roast in the oven for 1 to 2 hours until they are meltingly soft and slightly shrived.
- To make the crostini, thinly slice the baguette in 1.5 cm slices and brush both sides with olive oil. Season them with za’atar, salt and pepper.
- Arrange the slices on a sheet pan and bake in the heated oven until they are light gold brown.
- On each crostini place some Labneh with two or three roasted tomatoes then sprinkle some za’atar on top.
